Emotional Transition Coaching

For the changes that quietly change you — motherhood, endings, new chapters, the moments you look up and don't quite recognise your life. Based in Chesham, working across Amersham, the surrounding villages and online.

What is emotional transition coaching?

Some of life's biggest changes don't look like crises from the outside. Becoming a parent. A relationship ending. Children leaving. A career shifting. Even changes you chose — and wanted — can leave you feeling like a stranger to yourself.

Emotional transition coaching is support for those in-between seasons: making sense of who you are now, grieving who you were where that's needed, and finding your feet in a life that's changed shape around you.

My approach

My approach is trauma-informed, structured where it helps, and always compassionate. Coaching with me is a space to slow down, understand what you're carrying, and rebuild in a way that feels comfortable and true to you — not a push towards someone else's idea of "sorted".

Together, we may explore:

  • self-trust and emotional resilience

  • navigating uncertainty and change

  • the internal narratives and patterns that keep you feeling stuck

Who benefits from this?

You may be navigating:

  • identity changes after parenthood — losing parts of yourself along the way

  • emotional overwhelm, burnout, or disconnection

  • life transitions that feel difficult or unexpected

  • uncertainty about who you are now

  • a life that no longer looks how you imagined it would

What to expect

Sessions combine reflective coaching, emotional support and CBT-informed tools where appropriate, at a pace that feels manageable. Some people come for a handful of sessions around a specific change; others want steadier, longer support. Both are welcome.

If you are navigating identity change, emotional overwhelm, burnout, or a period of life transition where you no longer feel fully connected to yourself, this programme offers structure and compassionate support to help you move forward with greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional steadiness.

When life changes us, it can leave us feeling lost, disconnected, uncertain, or unsure how to move forward in a way that still feels true.

Coming Home to Yourself is designed to help you better understand your emotional patterns, rebuild self-trust, and create meaningful, sustainable change through a trauma-informed and supportive coaching approach.

Combining reflective coaching with CBT-informed tools and emotional support, this programme offers space to explore the thoughts, beliefs, behaviours, and internal narratives that may be keeping you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who you are becoming.

Together, we work towards building greater emotional awareness, healthier coping strategies, renewed confidence, and a steadier relationship with yourself during periods of change and transition.

The approach is supportive, grounded, and paced in a way that feels manageable and sustainable.
